Filtering Spam with OutlookOpen up Outlook and go to Tools, Rules Wizard as is illustrated below:![]() In the window that pops up click new: ![]() "Check messages when they arrive" should be selected already, go ahead and click next: ![]() Scroll down in the next window to find "with specific words in the message header" and check the box to the left of it and click next: ![]() In the bottom box click on "specific words" ![]() A box will pop up like this: ![]() Type in "X-Spam-Flag: Yes" like you see here and click ok and next: ![]() Check the box to the left of "move it to the specified folder." In the lower box click on "specified" to choose a folder to move it to. ![]() Choose the folder you wish potential spam to be filter into. If you want it to be filtered into a new folder, create one by clicking on the "New..." button. Then click "OK." ![]() Click "Next." ![]() Click "Next" again. ![]() Check the box next to "Run this rule now on messages already in the "Inbox"." And click the button labled "Finish." ![]() Click "OK" to exit the Rules Wizard. ![]() Anything that our spam filter thinks is spam will now be filtered into that folder for viewing later. |
